What is a Certified Loan Signing Agent?
A certified loan signing agent is a notary public who has passed additional training in both real estate and loan documentation. To be a certified loan signing agent, the notary public must also pass an exam administered by an industry-leading organization such as the National Notary Association.

Why do I need my documents to be notarized?
Getting a document notarized helps to prevent fraud because the notary public cannot notarize the document without first making sure that the signer is who he or she claims to be. The notary public also makes sure the signer understands what he or she is signing and is not being forced to sign something he or she does not want to sign.

Can I leave blank spaces on my document and still have it notarized?
No. Your document should be complete before you have it notarized. If you have any spaces that are meant to be left blank, simply draw a line through that area or write, “N/A.” A notary public requires that all blanks be filled in prior to notarization in an effort to prevent fraud.

Can I fax a copy of my document and have you notarize it?
